Last Summer, Jonathan and Alexander King met the requirements to earn the rank of Eagle Scout by performing volunteer work at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library. They, and other Boy Scouts from Troop 831, scraped, sanded, primed, and painted 18 basement windows, 9 outside doors(Music Hall), four handrails, and 30 window sills. New shelves were also built for a Library closet. The Library Board is very grateful for the efforts of these young people; it had been many years since these areas had received a coat of paint. The Library thanks them for a job well-done !
