619.   inimum basis for City open government policies and regulations


 

The body of state and federal law dealing with public access and involvement serves as a minimum standard for matters not addressed by the Charter.

The Pennsylvania Sunshine Law, the US Freedom of Information Act (5 U.S.C. § 552, as amended by public law No. 104-231, 110 Stat. 3048), the American with Disabilities Act, and other state and federal statutes, regulations, standards, and guidelines that are related to public access and involvement shall serve, as far as their provisions may apply to the City or may be adapted and adopted by the City, as the minimum basis for the City in the development and implementation of its policies and regulations governing the provision of all public information, instructions, notice, involvement, participation, and opportunity for comment.
