Many of you may have heard news reports that the
Homewood Branch Library was on fire early this morning. A four-alarm
electrical fire in the roof has been contained. No one was hurt. We will be
assessing damage and will keep you informed.
 
Obviously, since the branch will be closed for a short
period of time, we will curtail shipping, send item lists, meetings,
and programs. Please welcome Homewood customers as you did before
and reassure them that we are working diligently to reopen the facility as
quick as possible.
