Full-time: 37 hours per week
Position available the second week of January, 1998.
Salary: $18,000-$20,000(depending on experience) and benefits(employee health insurance, vacation, holidays, and sick leave)
Location: The Andrew Carnegie Free Library is located in Carnegie, PA, and serves Carnegie(population around 10,000) and surrounding communities.

The Library is open to the public 12:00-8:00, Tuesday through Thursday; 12:00-5:00, Friday; and 10:00-4:00, Saturday.
Other Library employees consist of:
8 to 9 part-time staff(including a reference librarian with an MLS, a
children's program librariann, and library assistants and aides)and
volunteers(including a group coordinated by the reference librarian).
Qualifications: MLS preferred; 4th-year student who could complete MLS within one year would be considered.
Familiarity with computerized library systems.
Employment will be contingent upon satisfactory Act 33 and Act 34 clearance.
