Citizens to Oppose Conveyance of Land to Carnegie
Library
At URA Board Meeting Thursday, 2:00 p.m.
Pittsburgh, Sept. 13 – Citizens opposed to relocating the historic Allegheny
Regional Branch of The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will speak in opposition
to conveyance of land for the proposed new North Side library at the regular
meeting of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on Thursday, September 14,
2006, at 2:00 p.m. EDST, in the URA Board Room, 13th floor of the
John P. Robin Civic Building located at 200 Ross Street (corner of Ross Street
and Second Avenue) in Downtown Pittsburgh.
Several citizens spoke-out in
opposition to the library relocation at Tuesday’s regular meeting of Pittsburgh
