ALLEGHENY REGIONAL ASSET DISTRICT LIBRARY GRANTS:
2001 BASIC DISTRIBUTION FORMULA PROPOSED BY THE ALLEGHENY COUNTY LIBRARY ASSOCIATION

The following is the proposal, of the Allegheny County Library Association(ACLA), for the distribution of Allegheny Regional Asset District(ARAD) funds, derived from the one percent sales and use tax levied in Allegheny County, to County libraries outside of the City of Pittsburgh. This proposal would distribute funds, in the Year 2001, using the Basic Distribution Formula used in 1999. Given is the service area population of each library, taken from the 1990 Federal decennial census(some libraries serve more than one municipality), the proposed 2001 grant amount, and how much each library would receive, per-capita, considering the library's service area population.
