We'll have numerous ways to open up dialogue with State government to help save our libraries' resources. Take an active role in the health of your community!

5/6: Don't miss our table in the West End leg of the Pittsburgh Marathon

5/12: Bees!

To complement our previous urban chicken program, we will bring in experts to teach you all you need to know to have your own bee colony!

As a part of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's month-long Arbor Day celebration, join us at the West End branch for an awesome afternoon of nature-themed arts and crafts!  Also, we'll be planting herbs for our upcoming community garden!  Get in on the fun and celebrate all things green!

Ralph Munn Creative Writing Workshop

Have a piece of writing you want help with, or want to learn some exercises to get your creative juices flowing? Come to this workshop to learn techniques for writing poetry, short fiction, or blog posts! Get your piece entered in this year's Ralph Munn Creative Writing Competition and you could win $250, or you could get published in the annual anthology! *Registration is required for this workshop. Just tell Annica if you want to come.*

Plus, you can download whatever free stuff you want!
