A 25-year veteran at Hillier Architecture, Joe is nationally known for his expertise in library design and master planning. He has designed and supervised additions, renovations and new buildings for more than 75 libraries, including the Carnegie-era St. Louis Public Library; the Depository for the Czech National Library in Prague; the Athenaem at Goucher College; and the Novartis Research Library. His work has been recognized with design awards and published in Architectural Record, Architecture, The New York Times and the Washington Post.
