(Brief Biography of Panelist)

 

Mary Dierickx is principal of Mary B. Dierickx, Architectural Preservation Consulting, a historic preservation firm established in 1977 in New York City. She is the author of The Architecture of Literacy: The Carnegie Libraries of New York City as well as The Architecture of Public Justice: Historic Courthouses of the City of New York. She has given lectures on preservation for such organizations as the National Trust, the international Institution of Civil Engineers, the Association for Preservation Technology, the New York Historical Society, the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, and the American Library Association. She is Chairman of the James Marston Fitch Charitable Foundation and President of the Fine Arts Federation of New York.
