ALL EVENTS LISTED ARE FREE-OF-CHARGE, UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.

Library observes Eastern Daylight Saving Time until Oct. 26, 2 a.m.(EDST); Library then observes Eastern Standard Time.

Wednesday, Oct. 1, 1 p.m. - Weekly(each Wednesday, 1 p.m.), Pre-School Storytime continues.

Oct. 1 - International Day of Older Persons AND commencement of International Year of Older Persons - both designated by the General Assembly of the United Nations.

October 19 through 25 - First annual Teen Read Week - sponsored by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of American Library Association(ALA), in partnership with the National Education Association and the American Association of School Administrators.

Friday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 25 - Haunted House in Music Hall Foyer and Haunted Dance performance in Music Hall - Contact Carnegie Performing Arts Center at (412) 279-8887 for details and prices.

Sunday, Oct. 26, 2 a.m.(EDST) - Standard Time begins - Turn clocks back one hour.
