You have reached the Andrew Carnegie Free Library in Carnegie,

Pennsylvania. As of today, Monday, March 13, 2000, the Library is closed due to a heating plant failure. The Library will continue to be closed until further notice; it may not reopen until Thursday or Friday, at the earliest.

Books due to be returned to the Library, this week, will not be considered late until the Library reopens. Patrons may continue to use the Library's Night Drop, to return books.

The Pittsburgh Savoyards' production of HMS Pinafore is NOT CANCELLED, due to use of a special heating system. The last days of this show will be Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 19 at 2:30 p.m.

Dance classes are NOT CANCELLED at the Carnegie Performing

Arts Center, which meets in the Lower Level of the Library building.

IRS Tax return preparation assistance is cancelled this week; call the Library next week to reschedule at (412) 276-3456.

Tutoring by the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council is cancelled this week.

Civil War Museum tours are cancelled for Wednesday evening, March 15.
