Carnegie Library has announced the PERMANENT CLOSURE
OF THE HISTORIC HAZELWOOD BRANCH LIBRARY BUILDING,
THIS-COMING SATURDAY, MARCH 13, 2004 AT 5:00 PM, built
by Andrew Carnegie in 1900.

THIS HISTORIC LIBRARY BUILDING. The historic Hazelwood
Library building will be open to the public only two
more days:
 
Thursday, March 11, 2004 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 13, 2004 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
 
The historic Hazelwood Library building is located at
4748 Monongahela Street, near the intersection of
Hazelwood Avenue and Monongahela Street--two short
blocks up Hazelwood Avenue from Second Avenue. For
